The Amazing Spider-Man Craze: Analysis

Hit Or Flop?

Let's apply my brain here.......

Now we are talking about the friendly neighborhood, who is every kid's favorite, 'SPIDER-MAN'. We've watched the earlier Spider-Man saga consisting of 3 movies, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3. All of them were fabulous consisting of various villains varying from Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, New Goblin, Venom and Sand Man. They were enough to make a Spidey flick a Blockbuster. And now, we rewind and go back to the time when Peter Parker is a young boy and his parents left him alone in the devastating world. When he grows up he finds clues about his parent's past. So what's his parent's secrets? Well that you will know after watching the movie. But, is it good to rewind the entire Spidey Universe and start all over when Peter was bit by the heroic Spider. They will have to make it a good one so that they can win the hearts of millions. Also Peter Parker's character is played by Andrew Garfield instead of Tobey Maguire. I like that part as to show someone of teen age you must take someone 'YOUNG'. No bad feelings here Tobey.

Let's Take a look at the good points and the bad points of the movie-

Good Points

1. It has an updated version of the Spidey Suit which the     audience will surely love to watch in action.

2. It has Indian actor Irffan Khan which will grab the Indian audience towards the movie.

3. The villain here is a biological lizard which is seen till now in the games and comics of Spider-Man. 

4. Another good point is the use of web shooters for the web swinging as seen in the cartoons.

Now everything having something good has something bad also-

Bad Points


1. Now till Spider-Man 3 we had seen the black side of Spider-Man, so anyone would surely have wanted to see what will happen next and what other villains are there to threaten the life of Spider-Man.

2. The role of Mary Jane Watson which was played by Kirsten Dunst is replaced by the role of Gwen Stacy which is played by Emma Stone.

3. Till now there is no mentioning of the famous Daily Bugle in the movie.







So a movie having four good points will surely win the hearts of the audience at the cinemas. One more good thing is that it will be released in 3D as well as 2D. Till now the promotion is very well being done. Talking about promotion the team of the movie has decided to showcase a 6 minute 3D preview of the movie in select cinemas before the movie 'MIB 3'(Men In Black 3) adding more to the promotion.
Every one is eagerly waiting to watch the much awaited and the reboot of the entire Spider-Man series........The Amazing Spider-Man. Releasing June 29 in India. Well we notice yet another great movie to be released in India earlier then US.
