At Last: Knights Have Proved Themselves....

It was the night of May 27 2012 that 'pura mohallah' was waiting for. As the hand of the clock striked 8, there was complete silence and the T.V's light turned green from red.......

AND THE WAR BEGINS.....

Chennai Super Kings had already won 2 IPL cups, and seriously speaking I was with Kolkata Knight Riders from the beginning, that is from season 1. This time it was Star War 5....
Chennai started a bit slow but after that the only words from the commentators were either "HUGE", "City Moments Of Success" or "ANOTHER ONE OFF THE LANE!"
I was very upset as KKR got a target of 191 runs. But hope was there as we heard in the Extra Innings T20 that if KKR don't lose 2 wickets under ten overs, they are the winners otherwise it would be M.S. Dhoni taking the cup home again. And actually what happened, Gautam Gambhir went straight back to the pavilion with 2 runs. The remote just fell off from my hands and I switched off the T.V. and went straight to bed. And what usually happens when you do a thing like that. Your DAD comes and says, "Beta, you should not lose hope..." That was the sentence I was waiting for as if you switch off the T.V. and show your anger in front of everyone, then you need a reason to get back to the television. I rushed to the T.V. and pressed the power button on the remote, went to channel number 210 and there it was a four from Kallis. And then it was a series of fours. I was extremely happy as the team which was always considered as an average team was moving towards success. Next, it was the umpire signalling a SIX, you know the style, sort of Bhangra. And it was not much later that Chennai got back into the game. When KKR were at 139-1, the 1 changed to 2 as Manvinder Bisla moved towards the pavilion with a score of 89. Now Kallis was the man. But what do we see....another wicket at the score of 152. While reading this paragraph anyone would think that at last KKR lost but now you know the truth.
Well let's get back into the game as Chennai was trying to do. Thank God Kallis was still in the ground. After that came the most shocking moment of the match. Kallis hit it strong and huge and it went straight into the hands of the fielder but it was not much long that the ball remained in his hands. He lost his balance and it was a.........you know what.
Now we see Yusuf Pathan getting out. "Man! Will this team win or not?" was the main question at that very moment. But save your heartbeats for this one as Kallis was defeated by a Karbonn Kamaal Catch. Huh!......and suddenly WOW! as Monoj Tiwari balanced the match. Now they needed three from three balls. The target was 191 and the final score of KKR was 192. So, what does it mean? FOUR!!!
AND Shahrukh Khan lifted his daughter up up and away.....So Finally the moment we've all waited for a long long time.

KORBO LORBO JEETBO RE!

It was celebration time and who can be the most happy person on the earth to witness the legendary winning of Kolkata Knight Riders. Shahrukh Khan!
He was running in the field with a heart full of happiness. So much of hard work, practice and cooperation had finally resulted in the great moment that we all witnessed on the night of May 27.
So it ends with a happy note and for Shahrukh it is PARTY TIME!!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED......
