So much happening, it's fun and risky - Leap of Faith (A deep loss..)

April 2023 Ending..

Contracts have ended, relationships with people are like rising and falling waves now. Only some friends from school have maintained a solid no-change policy in this area.

Storyboarding is well underway for the first feature film. Working parallelly on one other project as well. I feel like I will have to go to Mumbai soon for a couple of weeks to work on things.

Been talking to a lot of people lately. Confidence has taken a boost. A rejuvenating experience in Pulga in between the sun-kissed mountains. Perspective roller coaster. Back to freelance and open to all sorts of work again. The need to earn money has heightened to enormous proportions.

Pandit Ramakant Shukla
19th September 1940 - 12th June 2023

Baba has left us.. Pandit Ramakant Shukla is in a better place. Baba was always keen on giving individual attention to each kid in the family (as quoted by my sister Shraddha). 13 days of ceremonial Hindu rituals. All of us grieved. I cried a lot. He was a man of honor, truth and someone who had sheer belief in his thoughts and principles. He was very punctual and disciplined and taught his kids the same values. He was a great pandit who knew many mantras and deep-rooted philosophy and history of our culture. An English lecturer who had a reputation of being the first and only man in Fatehpur Chaurasi* to teach English and the importance of this language to his students. His ritualistic chants were the loudest and the purest. Seeing him sit in silence and pray to superior powers was a sight for sore eyes.

*The village in Unnao where he spent a major chunk of his life . It was his humble abode during his last days.

After almost 15 days.. life seems like it will be better now.. but a void will remain.. and it is hard to describe this feeling.

This post, I think, took the longest time to write. It's still going somewhere.

Across The Spider-Verse was a great movie. So relatable, I guess for a lot of people as they could see themselves in Miles' shoes. Especially the younger generation.

1st July 2023.. and I watched it again yesterday! with Sarthak.. 

अब बस अगले project का वेट है, and then I arrive.. until then.. the present is the gift that I get everyday.
